| Launching the update.php script corrected this issue for me on my site. it can be launched from the http://username.blogsome.come/wp-admin/update.php |

okay so I had a typo it should be .com not .come (obviously) and it should be upgrade not update (I'm way too exhausted sorry)
http://username.blogsome.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php
should get it done. replace username with your blogsome username of course.
Hope this helps some of those in need of this fix. |

I did that! And it worked... at first I got scared because my page was not opening anymore! But I kept on trying and it seems to work now.
Thanx! |

| This fix worked for me, too, and without any difficulties at all. Thanks, Guest! |

no problem hehehe I really have to remember to log in . . . like now. I guess I'll just stay the anonymous computer geek for now Glad to see I could help some of you out (this was bugging me to no end until I figured out that all of the admin php scripts are all intact ) |

This also seems to have fixed the RSS feed time offset as well (that's how I first encountered the problem ) Oh and make sure to send a nice e-mail or two to the programmers at WordPress, they fixed the problem after all, I just pointed out the script |

It fixed the problem (many thanks), but created a new one:
At the top of the blog, a series of random numbers appeared, which seemed to be fixed when I removed these bits of code from the mainpage, located just after the <body> tag:
{comments_popup_script}
{insert name="getreferer"}
It seems to be working fine - as far as I can tell. But should I put those bits back? Or maybe elsewhere, where (I think it was the 'getreferer' that was generating the numbers .... |

| hmm when I originally did this that piece of code wasn't in the body section, probably just something to gather marketing data to support Blogsome. In my opinion if it doesn't work there, try it elsewhere, if it doesn't work then and you feel obligated to keep it, remove it for now, and see if someone at Blogsome fixes the associated code that those tags refer to. |

This fix didn't remedy anything for me.

| I just waited until an admin fixed it - my changing the value seemed to not make any difference. Then one day it just worked. |
