Sorry tech support are on vacation until 4 Jan - so I won't be able to help with this until then. I will see if I can give them a call and if they can suggest what can be done.

I expect that the problem lies in a .htaccess re-write rule.

Given the fact that this problem is wide-spread, I would bet that
a) Someone propogated a faulty .htaccess to each user's UserDir or
b) There's been a recent modification to the site-wide .htaccess

Like they say in Iran: Shiite happens. Wink

Right now, all you can do is wait and see if the problem is resolved. It looks like the problem has struck pretty much everyone on the site.

For what it is worth, the XML-RPC interface seems to be up - the technically inclined may want to edit and post that way.

waiting until the 4th really sucks.

i was able to post via MetaWeblog API one time, but even that doesn't work anymore now.

Guess we'll be waiting 'till the 4th anyway, but I figured I'd add my voice to those who can't login. The login page doesn't even load in Firefox, and in IE logging in leads to a 'page not found' error page. Yippee.

I use Blogjet (http://blogjet.com) por publish this post.

If all the users with this problem publish one post in our blogs (using blogjet), maybe the support of blogsome can do something for solve this problem.

Not being very technical myself, there's not much I can do at this point. I re-started Apache in the hope that it might resolve it - but to no avail. I don't know how a faulty .htaccess file could have gotten into each users account as nobody was working on this - same goes for any site-wide .htaccess. So I'm at a loss but willing to try anything that is suggested.
