is there virus in making a blog? I try my zone alarm antivirus there are sometimes virus along with in reading some blogs or sites.

That is totally ridiculous. It is just a normal blog like any other. After I have posted on blogsome for years, you people suddenly get carried away with your rules. I will spread the word to stay away from blogsome. The management is clearly anal to a fault.

You're right, the feature was disabled a long time ago. We have no plans to re-enable it, though we might consider it if enough bloggers ask for it.

If I understand what you want, then you can generate the desired URL using the following Smarty code:

{capture name=title}{the_title}{/capture}
http://{$smarty.server.HTTP_HOST}/?s={$smarty.capture.title|escape:url|escape:html}

Note that the search string will be entire title.

No, Blogsome doesn't let you import a backup back into your blog.

It's not clear why anyone would want this feature; and if we allowed the feature, it would cause certain problems, partly of a security nature.

Like some of the other bloggers, I have two blogs deleted. They were at http://loan.blogsome.com and at http://homeloan.blogsome.com/
Would you please tell me why mine were deleted too? It appears that several blogs were all deleted at the same time. I doubt very much that it is because of any content on the blogs. I have had my blogs here nearly three years and posted 1-2 times a week. There were never any issues about content in the past. Now they are all gone. Could you respond please?

You are right, and I apologize for not reading that comment thoroughly. Was I aware I would have removed it immediately. It is indeed an anti-semetic remark, pretty sick.
But it wasn't me who wrote it, and it is just one comment, not a pattern. Someone could have asked me to simply remove it, or you could have asked me. But deleting a whole weblog just like that without notice, for one moment of absense on my part, is not neccesary at all. I am truly sorry and feel bad about it. And I'm not just saying that to get my weblog back.

Note for 3rd parties reading this, in defense of Blogsome's actions in this case, the comment in question is an unambiguously anti-semitic comment. Comments that are critical of the Israeli governments actions are of course tolerated, but not comments that are clearly anti-semitic. We are very clear on the difference.

It may be because of poor admin of the comments made by 3rd parties on the blog owner's part. However for legal reasons and our own terms and conditions, we cannot allow comments on a blog such as this remain published.

It is a pity your fervence didn't translate into diligence in keeping your blog clear of anti-semitic comments.
